About Us

History

In 2000 the Vancouver Grey Sox were formed as a Senior B team stocked with recent graduates from Junior fastpitch programs in British Columbia. In 2002 the Grey Sox moved up to the Open level, with a goal of competing for a Gold medal at the Canadian Championship and/or a top 3 finish at the ISC World Championship, within 5 years. The club's philosophy has always been to focus on providing BC players with an opportunity to play fastpitch at the elite level and to possibly play for the Canadian National Team.

We play our home games at South Memorial Park ("South Hill") on E. 41st Avenue (between Fraser and Knight streets) in Vancouver, where we have the much appreciated support of the South Hill Sports Association.
